Jillian Lake lanzará su álbum debut “Younger Then” el 17 de mayo de 2022. Coescribió la canción con el productor Jordan Klassen.
Jillian Lake explicó sobre la canción: “Olympia forever será la canción que casi no aparece en el álbum…. Este fue tan complicado para mí que estaba dividido entre hacerlo solo o desecharlo todo junto. Esta canción fue una adición posterior al disco, queríamos hacer una divertida; sin embargo, ahí radica el comienzo de los problemas para mí… NO estaba acostumbrado a hacer música divertida… Había estado en el tren triste y cursi desde el principio. Así que la canción siempre me pareció forzada. Sin embargo, me divertí mucho haciéndolo, y fue un proceso totalmente diferente al del resto de mis canciones”.
